Reamon’s Life and Legacy

Reamon was born on February 29, 1936 in East Carroll Parish to the late Nathaniel Webb, Sr. and late Catherine Webb of Lake Providence, LA.
She attended Evergreen Baptist Church as a child and later regularly attended St. Peter United Methodist Church in Lake Providence, LA. She ultimately became a member of Central Baptist Church No. 1 in Lake Providence, LA under the leadership of Rev. Raymond Gill.
Reamon attended the Louisiana School for the Deaf in Baton Rouge, LA where she played basketball.
As a young adult, she married Dave Closure of Lake Providence, LA. To this marriage was born a daughter, Earlene. She later moved to Los Angeles, CA where she met Denson Henderson and brought about another daughter, Bertha.
Reamon returned to Lake Providence, LA in the early 1970’s and began working as a seamstress at a garment factory in Eudora, Arkansas for a number of years.
During the early morning of December 26, 2022 while sleeping peacefully, Reamon transitioned to her Heavenly home.
Reamon is preceded in death by her parents; her older daughter, Earlene Webb of Lake Providence, LA; her brother, Nathaniel Webb, Jr. of Lake Providence, LA; and her sister, Dorothy Wilson of Lake Providence, LA. She leaves to cherish her memory her younger daughter, Bertha Daniels (Shawn), of Marrero, LA; her sister, Hattie Haythorne (McKinley), of Lake Providence, LA; her brother, Earl Webb, Sr. of Lake Providence, LA; 7 grandchildren - Ken Reed and
Charles McLemore, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; Will Baker, Jr. of Dallas, TX; Robin Ann Webb (Jesse) of Cincinnati, OH; Ronald Webb of Dallas, TX; Aaron Daniels and Camille Daniels of Marrero, LA. She also leaves behind several great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
