LEON TURNER affectionately known as “Sug” was born March 10, 1944 in Lake Providence, Louisiana. He was the fifth of eight children born to the late Cornelius Turner and Mary Bright Turner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Mary Turner, and his brother, Samuel Proctor.
