LEON TURNER

LEON TURNER affectionately known as “Sug” was born March 10, 1944 in Lake Providence, Louisiana. He was the fifth of eight children born to the late Cornelius Turner and Mary Bright Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Mary Turner, and his brother, Samuel Proctor.

Leon’s memory will be cherished by: his loving wife, Idell Turner;  Children, Carlton (Robin) Turner, Seagoville, TX; Jacquelyn Turner (Kelwin), Lake Providence, LA;  Grandchildren, Jeremy Turner, Seagoville, TX, Samir (Bobby) Twilley, Savannah, GA;  Great-grandchildren, Jace Leon Turner and Salem Chanel Twilley; siblings, Bertha Press,  Will Turner, Lake Providence, LA., John Turner, Gary, IN, James (Juanita) Turner, Lake Providence, LA., Dennis (Margaret) Turner, Lake Providence, LA., Mary (Arthur) Graham, Lake Providence, LA;  aunt, Elizabeth Harris, Las Vegas, NV.,  a special great nephew, Jaloni Grey, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
