A Time To Be Born: Ethel Mae Foley was born on October 13, 1931 to James Puckett and Izena Foley, in Lake Providence, LA.
A Time For Salvation: She accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior and united with the Sweet Canaan M. B. Church, under the pastorate of the late Rev. P. H. Henderson, and currently under the leadership of Dr. Raymond C. Gill, Sr.
A Time To Learn: She received her formal education at China Grove Church, which prepared her for the many challenges she endured during her lifetime.
A Time To Serve: She was a dutiful and faithful Usher and was Vice President of the Usher Board, where she served in that capacity for many years.
A Time To Work: She was employed at Shady Lake Nursing as a Nurses’ Assistant, and enjoyed caring for others.
A Time To Die: On Saturday, April 11, 2020, around 12 Noon, The Angelic Angel of Peace surrounded her and escorted her to Eternal Rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-Izena Marshall Henderson, son-James Oliver Marshall, and grandson-Jason Hensley.
